When I was 16, I was the drummer in the band Two Seconds. We were a two-piece, all-girl indie rock band based in the San Francisco Bay Area, with Sierra on guitar and lead vocals, and Lily (me!) on drums and back-up vocals.
Within a week of forming the band, we were signed to a local record label, Pop Smear Records, in 2006. From then, we enjoyed a few years of gigging around San Francisco and the greater Bay Area; playing festivals such as SXSW, BFD, and NoisePop; recording two albums; opening for The Dandy Warhols, and more – all before we turned 19!
